Welcome packet

So I have finally received the welcome packet from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. At first, there were so much info, I was absolutely overwhelmed!
Of course, my lovely husband helped me a lot...keeping my nerves and sanity in control.
Here are the small list of things to do...just a small list.

1) Book my ticket to St. Kitts---> send itinerary to my student coordinator.
2) Get HIV, TB, and VDRD (syphilis ) Test done for my health certificate.
3) Get Rabies and Hep A/B vaccines (2 series)
4) Get booster vaccine for my tetanus.
5) Get a physician to sign off on my vaccines, lab test and on my physical exam.
6) Fill in application form for my student housing: requesting a double unit because Gavin will be joining me.
7) Get my birth certificate (family register in japan and get it translated by the American embassy)
8) Read through my student handbook and student housing handbook.

I am still excited about going to St. Kitts, but the reality of attending veterinary school has not sunk in yet. I wonder how long it would take.... ;)

More people signed on to the FB group I've created and we have the whooping 9 people signed up. That is out of 80 people that is supposedly in the class. ;) Hope someone finds this blog and join the group!
