last weekend

So last weekend.....i got fucked up!!
We went to a Taco party and had too much fun.
I have to thank Kevin and Gavin for taking me home.
We didn't do an all nighter, but was close enough.
I woke up in this nice house in Nakameguro (really high class apt) and was on the floor not knowing where I was and the people I was surrounded by.
Well you know what is worse than being hung over?? Having a cold and be on ur period all at the same time.
Anyhow, we finally got home and I crashed into a long long sleep. By the time I woke up again was at 9pm. Had some food and went to bed again.

Oh, and at the party I met a girl who is a fan of my blogsite. It was nice to know that someone other then my friends were reading my blog! So, thanks! Noriko for reading my blog!

at work

So, I have started my new job here at GE Money and the gal I was hired to replaced has left the office. The true battle starts here. I made few mistakes today already, but as the hours ticks i'm getting a better hang of things in the office.

I work in a complete security lock down system since it's a finance company. I have no access to my chat, email, or any blog sites. I am told by gavin I should start using rote acces to the server we have at home but I'm afraid some IT dude would come haunt me down and arrest me for breaking their sercurity! But come to think of it, it can be a good thing. If I can make friends with admins, they might be able to give me some advice on gavins getting a job next year.

I know i have told you guys what i might be doing....now i have a better idea what my job is. I am a professional assistant to GE Mortgage IT department.
This department is mainly invovlved in building websites that are designed to be used by GE offices. Hence the name 'morgage' the website they are building will be used to approve/deny applicants with mortgages when they apply at the office or online. Natually there is a big team of programers and managers that work on projects. Most of our programers are Indians and Chinese. The Indians speak English and the Chinese speaks Japanese and there is about 4 Indians and 6 Chinese people in the office. There is an official translators and interpeter for English. However, there are team of more than 20 people working on this project overseas, all based in India. They outsource most of their core programers over seas. So, just to give you an idea what my office envrioment is like.....
Phone conference between Japan office and Indian programers: Since Indian's English acent is pretty strong, another Indian in the office repeats the english with less acent, that gets understood by most people in the office, but since there are some Chinese people whoe don't speak English, Chinese person who can understand English traslates the conversation from English to Chinese.
I have to say, I'm quite happy with this work envrionment. During my interview, my boss said, i would not have much chance to use English but it turns out i use it every day! I use english in my emails and in my office. The people in my department speaks English, including my boss. What's really coool? I get to use English, and still have a chance to learn Japanese business words!

Sicko

I watched the movie "Sicko" last night.
I personally liked his last film just because it gave me a reason to hate Bush more than I already have.
This time.....it was little shocking. I see why the US government wouldn't want this film to be out.
Really, it's slap in the face. 911 rescue workers who aren't getting adequate medical care in the US goes to Cuba and receives full work up for free and prescriptions for nearly a penny compared the US.
I hope people can comment on this movie so I can see what other people think about his film.

Kind of sad....

Sayaka sent me this link.

THIS IS NOT REAL!!!!!!
